Before he ever picked up a golf club, Phil Johnson was a professional athlete — signed out of high school by the Chicago Cubs minor league organization. That background in elite-level body mechanics became the foundation for everything he teaches today.

Over 25+ years of teaching golf, Phil has earned multiple PGA certifications, studied under legendary instructors Hank Haney and Jim McLean, and served as Director of Instruction at Topgolf. Now at Grey Rock Golf Club, he combines proven player development methods with Full Swing Simulator technology to deliver results you can measure.
