Mon to Fri · 8:30 AM to 12 PM · max 5 kids

A week of real golf instruction at Grey Rock. Coached by Phil Johnson, 25+ years teaching everyone from first-timers to scratch players. Small group (5 max) means every kid gets real feedback, not crowd control.

Grades 6 to 12. Pick one day a week or all four, cancel any time.

17.5 Hours of Real Coaching.

Full Swing Fundamentals

Setup, grip, posture, the moves that actually matter. Built up over the week so each day stacks on the last.

Full Swing Simulator

Kids get instant feedback on ball speed, launch, spin, and club path. They see what their swing is doing, not just hear about it.

Short Game & Putting

Chipping, pitching, putting on real Grey Rock practice greens. The scoring shots that lower scores fastest.

Friday Simulator Tournament

Friday morning the whole week shows up. Kids play a tournament on the simulator with what they've learned. Prizes, parents welcome to watch.

Mon to Fri · 8:30 AM to Noon

The Stuff You're Wondering About.

Does my kid need their own clubs?
No. We have loaner junior clubs available. If your kid has their own set they're welcome to bring it, and sometimes familiar clubs help, but it's not required.
What should they bring?
Athletic clothes they can move in, closed-toe shoes (sneakers fine, golf shoes not required), a hat, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a snack. Texas sun in summer is real, so please put sunscreen on before drop-off.
Has my kid ever played before? Does it matter?
No prior experience needed. Camps are age-banded but Phil tailors instruction within the band to where each kid is. Some kids will be brand new, some will have played a season or two, and that's fine.
What if it rains?
Most instruction moves indoors to the simulator and short-game area. If a full day gets washed out, we'll either schedule a makeup hour or pro-rate the refund, whichever the family prefers.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund up to 14 days before the camp starts. 50% refund 7 to 14 days out. No refund inside 7 days, but if your kid can't make it we'll do our best to find a substitute or apply credit to a future week.
Minimum enrollment? What if I'm the only signup?
Camps run with 3+ kids enrolled. At 2 kids, the week still runs, with Phil shifting to a small-group format and more individual coaching per kid at the same price. At 1 kid, the week pivots to a 5-day private intensive, same Mon to Fri 8:30 AM to 12 PM at the same price, but reframed as 1:1 coaching with Phil instead of group camp. We'll let you know at 10 days out either way, and you can keep your spot or transfer to a week with more kids.
Can I fit siblings in the same week if it's full?
Sometimes, yes. Email Phil directly at phil@elitemotiongolf.com. For sibling-pair signups he can sometimes open a 6th spot in a week that's already full, depending on the kids' ages and the dynamic of the week. Booked case-by-case, not guaranteed, but worth asking.
Where exactly do we drop off?
Grey Rock Golf Club, 7401 Hwy 71 W. Head to the driving range, we're in the building to the left of the tee. Park anywhere in the range lot. First day, walk your kid in so we can match faces to names.
Who's supervising?
Phil Johnson runs instruction. A junior counselor helps with logistics, water breaks, and keeping kids on task. With a 5-kid max, ratios are tighter than most camps, 1:2.5 instead of 1:8 or 1:10.
Can we sign up for more than one week?
Absolutely. Pick any weeks that match your kid's age band. Phil will progress the instruction so it builds, not repeats. If your kid wants to do a band above or below their age, email us and we'll talk about whether it makes sense.
